27th 十一月 2024, General site safety - Heat stress management and young workers/apprentice management

Hi All,



With the extreme heat temperatures today and the hotter summer months ahead, please ensure that you are implementing heat stress management stragies with your workers (ie regular breaks as rewquired, keeping hydrated, task rotation, working out of areas with direct sunlight where practical etc) Please see attached sunscreen posters useful for this.



Also, in relation to young workers and apprentices, ensure that there is adequate supervision at all times on site, to ensure that they are only completing tasks that they are capable/trained to as well as their regular well being. This is important for the future of the industry and more importantly their own safety.
